A few gas gas stations in Kuwait offer Euro gas and diesel but I never knew that one liter costs 260 fils (that’s more than quarter KD) compared to 60 fils/liter for normal gasoline, that means it would cost me about KD18 to refill my car tank.I always wondered what is special about it and why is it so expensive, any idea?
Couple months ago I posted about the first Chinese car agency “Geely Motors” to open in Kuwait at Al Rai, I passed by them yesterday to see what cars they have and how cheap they are, I saw three car models and there was this little cute car that really looks like a panda starting at KD1,799
I find it good as a second car, I asked the agency for a test-drive and they liked the idea, so if you have any questions about the car just let me know.
I passed by Al Bisher & Al Kazemi showroom today afternoon and saw the new sexy Mercedes-Benz SL 2013 has just arrived, its the luxury car I love most.
The new generation looks even hotter, it combines classic and sport look, and has more options and more powerful engine. They had the 500 model which is V8 (435 hp) and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 secs. Fuel consumption has also been reduced by 22%, I didn’t feel like I want to leave when I sat inside. Though these hot features and new sexy look doesn’t come cheap, they said estimated price starts at KD37,000 for the SL500 and KD30,000 for 350 model.
Note: There was a mistake in the previous price KD43,000 as it appeared that the salesman informed us wrongly.
A Kuwaiti supercar, Orange Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 getting towed in st tropez with matching Mercedes G- Wagon AMG being towed in st tropez Both cars where parked in the taxi bay on the quay big travisty how they lifted and god knows why the crowd were cheering.
I passed by the newly opened racing simulator so-called Racing Room today at Baroue in Avenues Mall, I think this is the first racing simulator in the Gulf. I love simulators because you could enjoy all the physical effects and feeling of real racing experience minus the dangers of course.
Inside they had six professional simulators with all the gears such as surround speakers, break and acceleration paddles, sexy steering wheel with gear shift buttons, comfy seat and high resolution screen, there’s even a clutch paddle for the manual driving, cool.
I talked with the supervisors who explained that friends can enjoy real racing and real cars to race each other, and those who get the highest scores will be added to the international score board, any new driver can create an online profile for him/her and save the information on a card so everytime they come they just need to swipe the card and bingo.
I sat behind the wheel to see if it feels real, guess what? It does, I liked how the steering wheel vibrates as you drive, also sound system was great but I wish graphics was even better.
There’s also a big screen for spectators, you could either challenge your friends or the world through an online network. They said the price is KD2.5 and 400 fils if you want to get a card with your profile saved.
I’m definitely going again with my friends for a challenge.
