I found that the Avenues have just launched a monthly magazine that covers everything about the mall and features the new in-store, mall news, offers, best-seller items, new products, new stores opening.
I grabbed one and started checking it out, frankly I found it interesting and informative with over 90 pages, the editor is Waleed Al Shurian. The new magazine is available at the mall’s reception for free.
I also liked how they quoted bloggers, thanks to the Avenues management for this idea.
Last year I posted about online stores in Kuwait, yet many new stores for fashion, electronics, deals, food, auction..etc have joined so I did an update.
Below are some of the useful Kuwait online shopping stores for many different commodities, hope this helps many.
Note: Plese let me know if you know more stores, click on any to visit the website:

Phones, Cameras, Electrical, Electronics & Workshop

I read on Kuwait Times that Ministry of Education will replace traditional school books with flash memory starting before the Eid holiday, the project cost is K.D 259,000.
I find this excellent idea, students can now have books on their iPads or any tablet computer, they can also view them easily as PDF files. Add to this the money we could save for paper and printing, and on the positive effect on environment.

I had a brief visit to Kuwait International Book Fair 36 today at Mishref fair ground halls 5, 6 & 7. The book fair remains to be one of the interesting yearly activities in Kuwait.
There were over 10,517 books from 22 different countries in both Arabic and other languages. Though I was particularly interested in Aljalees Project; a Kuwaiti club that promotes reading, on the other hand I’m little disappointed with the strict censorship on books and publishers.
