I found about this new iPhone/iPad app that is specialized in Kuwait marine environment so-called “Kuwait Sea Base” so I installed it on my iPhone to see what it is. I liked the user-friendly interface and great features that it has, its basically a guide that tells you about the different species and life forms found in Kuwait sea like fishes names.
There’s also a nice photo gallery and information, I find this app very useful for everyone. I always wanted to learn more about life under Kuwait sea, we need to preserve our marine environment, I wish Kuwait Environment Public Authority (K-EPA) pay more attention to this area.

A reader emailed me this video, he says he was spearfishing at Kubbar island and a shark was about to attack him. From the short video, I don’t think the small shark was trying to attack him but maybe because there was some blood from spearfisihng the shark was attracted, sharks love blood and can sense it from 0.4KM away.
Though I liked the background music from the movie Jaws, if they make a movie “Shark Attack in Kuwait 3D” I wouldn’t mind watching it in Cinema.

Imagine a sheep would cost over 15,000 KD? That’s like buying 380 ordinary sheep, remember how last time we covered the Cat’s Show, this time a friend of mine attended the best-looking sheep competition in Kuwait where the cheapest sheep costs around 8,000 KD.
My question was how do they select the winner sheep? I was told that the sheep are evaluated for strong body structure, virility, big bone structure, and their size where bigger is better, interesting.
I guess if I ever get to have one of these sheep I would never take it to the slaughterhouse.

We paid a visit to the first ever cat show competition in Kuwait, well actually in Middle East, today at Safir Hotel.
The show is organized by K-Cats and it was really fun and enjoyable seeing all those cute cats competing for the crown.
Some of the breeds icluded Persians, British, Scotish, Ragdoll, American Shorthair but moistly were Persians with long fur.
There were four judges from Europe, I think they evaluated the cats based on the hair grooming, bone structure and attitude.
I love cats I didn’t even want to leave! I wish there were the Turkish Van breed that has two eye colors.
Some of the kittens were cute, some looked funny and some even had an attitude, we took many nice snapshots. Enjoy!
