I read on the paper that Kuwait set new rules for sacrificing Australian sheep, citizens and expats are now not allowed to slaughter at house but only at approved slaughterhouses.

I guess this is because they have seen improper acts before and Australia had reached an agreement with Kuwait and other GCC countries to set rules.

I was walking by the beach early this morning and I kept seeing street cats everywhere, many were scavenging in garbage looking for food and shelter.

Cats in Kuwait rule the streets, whether its a residential area, industrial, or beach front bearing the burning sun and cold winter. I love cats, but we clearly need to have a solution in Kuwait, otherwise they are just left to die by car hits, diseases, or simply left to starve.

I read that K’s Path had tried the Trap-Neuter-Release technique in Ahmadi area, in this technique they catch the cats, sterilize them in the lab and release them.

According to K’s Path, this way the cats cannot re-produce and therefore their population is controlled in Kuwait, what do you think?

I always wondered where did Kuwait street cats originally come from? I once overheard they came with old ships from India.

I have noticed that a YouTube user called shaheenkuw keeps uploading dozens of videos for what it seems like a recreational birds hunting. This is not personal, but why on earth does he do that ? If practicing was the purpose he could simply use artificial targets and I highly doubt that he’s hunting these birds for eating because many of the species are not the eatable-type.

I wish my words reaches out to him; Shaheen stop abusing birds hunting, we can rarely see birds in Kuwait nowadays !

The YouTube user  says that they went out with his friends for fishing nearby Marina Mall, but instead of catching fishes, they caught a cow ! Now that’s something we don’t see everyday !

I recall couple days ago, a bull was seen running on the Gulf Road and now this, is there a link here ?

Maryam Aljoaan had shared with us these amazing pictures that she took during her antarctic expedition.

I can’t stop looking at her pictures, so beautiful.  On February 2011, Maryam became the first Kuwaiti female to go to Antarctica on a scientific mission to study climate change.

I think she spent six months at the South Pole, I can only imagine how cold the south pole is because its so hot in Kuwait, I read that maximum recorded temperature was -14 Deg. Celsius.

VIVA was the official sponsor for her expedition, we are very proud of you Maryam and thanks for sharing these lovely photos.
