I was heading toward Kuwait City and saw they fixed billboards near traffic lights showing February National Day celebrations for each governorate of Kuwait. The one I saw was for Assimah governrate. It included festivals, musical fiestas, sports tournaments, fireworks and entertainment shows so I made you a brief list.

If you thought we are done with bike shows for 2013, then you’re wrong! I got E-mail from Kuwait Riders which is the largest motorcycle riding club in Kuwait and it’s a part of the Riders International network all over the GCC, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Egypt and Turkey that they are about to organize the 3rd Bike Show. The Bike show is basically a competition between the best motorcycles in different categories, customizing, accessories & the look of the bike.
I recall I paid their Bike Show a visit before and saw the most exotic looking bikes ever [link].

When: 13th & 14th February – Carnival & Activities from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
15 February – The Parade & The Show from 10:00 AM to 10 PM

Every year Kuwait celebrates National Days in February with many recreational activities, I recall Hala February Festival was first launched back in 1997 and the purpose was to refresh tourism in Kuwait plus the positive influence on Kuwait economy of course. Though some people were questioning the success of this festival but I personally don’t look at it this way, I focus on the enjoyment part. Who’s going to Harley-Davidson bike show tomorrow at Marina Crescent? I’m absolutely going because I went last year and it was really fun, there were dozens of hot bikes with different colors and body designs, there were also local and regional bikers that came to show their bikes.
