I was glad to see that Traffic Department has provided the pedestrians with road crossing for Kuwait streets but sadly I’m seeing many reckless drivers still pay no attention at all to red traffic lights at road crossings. Police should punish those who don’t stop at road crossings otherwise they are totally useless!

ofcourse , aren’t we arabs ?
Sadly
Well as long as there aren’t jail time involved in this matted
people won’t pay attention to red lights !
+1 breaking red light has never been easier because as you said Q8 Marron Glace there are no real punishments what so ever.
The only working solution is installing Radar’s at Signals as well,it works very well in the UAE and jumping a red light is a very serious offence here.
I haven’t been to Kuwait but i’ve been to another GCC country where they don’t follow Traffic Signals nor Lane Discipline, sadly it leaves a very bad impression of a country if such basic rules aren’t implemented and followed.
Jumping a Red light here means a 800 dhs fine + 8 Black Points + 15 days of impound , thus a very serious offence and no one even thinks about it.
Wish we can see the same implemented in Kuwait!
