What’s up with Aventadors? After the orange Lamborghini Aventador that got towed in St Tropez, London police has impounded two Lamborghini Aventadors with Kuwaiti and Qatari plates, they say the Kuwaiti driver ‘apparently’ didn’t have any insurance for the U.K and therefore his car got seized, I wonder how much will be the fine?
Though unlike St Tropez, there were no crowd cheering this time.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
Doesn’t work like that, he has broken the law, driving without insurance can result in up to five years imprisonment, he will be lucky if he gets away with a fine. UK Law doesn’t really work that way…………let’s hope he’s actually left the country…….or he could be behind bars for a long time!
Poor dude ma tahana
Actually he had Kuwaiti insurance which also stated it was valid in the UK sometimes cops aren’t so good after all lol
Lol- his Kuwaiti insurance said it worked in UK? And what? He believed that? Lol.
UK insurance is around 3000 pounds for drivers between 18-25. It depends on age/size of engine and sex (altho recently they started to battle the sex part out and agreed it was discrimination to charge males more). Insurance back home isn’t like insurance in Kuwait… There is all sorts of things he should have paid and obviously didn’t…
“The police were carrying out checks on vehicles for things such as insurance documentation and one such car that was checked was this matte black Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 from Kuwait.
The owner produced his documents including a cover note from his Kuwaiti insurance company that specifically mentioned his policy being valid in the UK however this wasn’t enough for the police, and while one was taking photos of the incident, the other set about putting the wheels in motion for the car to be towed away and impounded.
The owner was very sure that there was nothing wrong, and I believe this to be the case, but it is purely a bureaucratic thing that the single piece of paper that is required was missing and will be produced the next day for immediate release of the vehicle. My thoughts are that the police need to act important, and one such way they do this in London is to take it out on people with nice cars; I’ve seen it happen enough times “
In London you don’t really need a car there of the parking problems unless you’re doing this to get an attention or other purpos of getting your own car all the way from Kuwait to UK you are so pathetic and I really feel sorry for you guys !
Funny thing is that this happens every summer; guys ship their supercars to Europe for show off and then they get towed for violating simple rules, guess they are not used to the strict laws.
Exactly. You said it perfectly Tazmania. “They’re not used to strict laws.” We SHOULD implement strict laws not only for driving but as a general rule so that people like him get taught a lesson.
The ONLY reason people like him get laid off is because of connections. They know people at higher police ranks and tell them to simply ignore the charges and let him loose just so he won’t get fired off the job or probably the guy did him a favor before and is returning the favor back.
You can’t deny it. Kuwait runs like a mafia. If you’re the type of person who “Goes by the book”, you’re only fooling yourself and wasting time on your hard work or business that could’ve excelled much higher beyond your imagination. But nope, that’s not gonna happen.
Who am I kidding, look at our recent elected MP members and now we’re going to have yet another election. I’m really wondering what the turn of event is going to happen on October.
I’m calling bets that there will be some sort of mini chaos. Any takers? =D $$$
Btw guys I don’t think think the new Aventador is 110,000kd? Can someone clarify the real price? It should be double I suppose?
its so funny how these people go to London just to show off with their cars.
poor dude, it seems shipping cars to Europe is getting cheaper and cheaper or its just becoming a trend
