Today I went to the newly opened “Historical, Vintage & Classic Cars Museum” at Shuwaikh area, I can say that after the visit I found that I have love for antiques, the museum has turned the clock & took me back into the Kuwait’s paste.
The classic cars looked very beautiful & authentic. The idea of the museum is to show the world the history of Kuwait & to connect the the past with the present & the future.
There are several goals for which the museum was opened & that includes the preserve of Kuwait’s past with respect to the cars, culture, & tourism for such an important & high-valued era. It also aims to attract the young generations & also to participate in many national occasions.
Beside the enjoyable time, I learnt many new stuff about classic cars manufactures & standards that were used at that time. Also the decorations were exquisite, I was so curious to see what was behind the gate 
Having spoken to the guide I came to know that the museum also provides the maintenance & spare parts for classic cars & that they’ll establish an information center for members & amateurs. Below is a classic police bike that was used by old Kuwait’s police
The management also intends to make yearly exhibitions for classic cars. Inside, there was one corner with many photos about cars history in Kuwait.
While in the opposite corner there were small models for classic cars, too bad they are not for sale 
Just beside the entrance there was this little BMW, I was astonished, it was just so small & cute. I guess it was the mini-cooper of the past & yeah it also surprises me that they were able to make such a car back then.
Now I will leave you with more photos & yes I have also shot a video footage so you can enjoy as much as I did, well almost 
but I would highly recommend you to pay a visit to the museum & before I forget check out the Porsche below, it still somehow looks like the moderm Porsche
It’s kinda odd for a girl to like cars .. at least a kuwaiti girl :P I looooove classic cars If I were a boy or a girl that doesn’t have brothers I would buy myself one

WOW so cool, I never knew that something like this is available in Kuwait.
Today I went to Eurika Shuwaikh, and when I was driving out from the parking in the basment there was some old Rolls and other Vintage cars and motorcycles all dusty, really weird I don’t know why those were there

i have the same cars during two occasions, one was a classic cars earlier this year. and the other time was in the Concors D`Elegance in Marina Mall. most of the cars,If not all of them, owned by Shikhs Nasser Al-Mohammed the prime minister.
I`ve seen this one in shuwaikh but i was waiting for the grand openning, but the demise of the Shiekh niece cancelled the event.
will give it a visit enshalla soon

I lived and worked in Kuwait for over 7 years and I never saw a classic or an Antique car museum. It’s great to see one now. I used to know Sheikh Nasir who owned a car sales lot and had a good collection of cars. I am a classic car collector myself and I like to see a better collection in such a museum than what I saw so far. I’m sure many collectors of Kuwait have not bothered to display their cars at this museum but its a great start. Looking forward visiting this museum soon.
