A few weeks ago we posted about the Classic cars photography competition organized by Classic Cars Museum, and today we received an E-Mail from the organizers that visitors can now visit the Museum in Shuwaikh and vote for the displayed pictures until the 28th.
There are over 180 competitors using different pro DSLR cameras.
The DSLR shots look really hot ! We really have a growing photography community in Kuwait, Mashallah !

It was a nice idea. The execution is poor. I happen to know that many of the participants are car owners and using photographs that somebody else took of their cars. Also apparently there are new entries that magically appeared today which were not there yesterday. Allah kareem

Oops I saw an identical picture to the second photo posted above !!
Did anybody inform the organizers ?
They were informed but they say that they know these photos belong to that Photographer and they know him personally, whatever that means.
If they do belong to him and submitted under his name, I don’t think he lives in Kuwait.
Sadly, like you said the idea of the competition is great but a proper and “fair” execution is lacked if such issues are not properly resolved !
