I was heading to Kuwait city from Jamal Abdul Naser street and I saw they opened new phases of the 1st ring road, the road connecting 1st ring road to Jamal Abdul Naser street and the road leading to Al Jahra roundabout were opened, its also easier to get to the Gulf Road now.
I read before that 81% of the project completed and was planned to open by end of 2011, but I think there’s a delay.
I’ve been using the open portion of the road for the past 2 month or so (the day it opened).
it’s a much easier way in and out now, and not many people use it yet so it’s always empty (which is good for me).
I was so happy when I saw the connection between Jamal Abdul Naser street & 1st ring road was opened, usually I had to take a big round to get to Kuwait city, yes you are people don’t know about it yet it was so empty
