So what are the most desired private companies in Kuwait? I’m sure many of the fresh graduates are trying to find the answer based on the benefits (Salary, bonus), nature of work, work environment and promotions.

There are also many with current jobs but are seeking to change their  jobs, I even read a study that an average person will change his job about 5 times or more during lifetime.

The Kuwaiti private sector has become more attractive than before, so which of these companies would you love to work in?

Note: We tried to list the popular companies in Kuwait, if you like other companies please select other or mention as a comment. We will publish the results later for public benefit.

The great thing that your major is needed almost everywhere, its just you need to first determine whether you want to work in Government or private sector and from there you can decide based on work environment, salary, working hours, benefits and bonus, work place, Nature of work…etc.

Like I said HR is wanted everywhere and your options are many :)

o mabrook in advance we want a cake :)

      Shaklich tabi the Government.

The best governmental jobs out there for business graduates are: Idarat El5ubara, Diwan el-Mo7asaba, el-bank el-markazi, sharikat elnaf6 (eli 3enduhum the new kawader… don’t waste ur time 3ala eli beddon kawader).

      Good luck bro :)

There’s a thing that most of graduates must think of before deciding where to work. A company might be the best in social reputation, in customer service, and in flexibility to complaints and developments.

However, that doesn’t mean that it is the best employee environment out there. Just because a Co. is very respected in a community and to consumers, it doesn’t mean that it delivers the same respect of ease of work to its own staff.

Take the National Bank of Kuwait & Gulf Banks as an example. Most graduates WANT TO work with NBK, because they are confused with the customer reputation NBK puts out there.

Whereas, Gulf Bank on the other hand, is the better choice for a work place. Staff have a more happy work environment, better salary increases, easier promotions; and a more practical approach to employee treatment.

That is why I was super amazed to see that most new graduates (more than 40%) wanted to work for NBK. Everyone who has ever worked for more than a few months knows that NBK is one of the worst places to work for. Staff respect is at a minimum, you are treated at a much harsher and strict way that if u were working for a non-Kuwaiti company. That is why their reputation is so super high. But realistically speaking, Non-Kuwaities there beat Kuwaties at the top managerial level by 3-1.

Would you want to work in a place like that?

Now coming to the end of my lecture here…. Kuwait Finance House is a much better choice as a work place; despite the many and repeated complaints about bad customer service.

    Never confuse a good-working environment with a customer-friendly environment.

If you’re a client, then bank with NBK.

However, if you’re a staff; then work for Gulf Bank or Kuwait Finance House.

I just looked at your poll results, and it hit me, most of eli ga3deen eysawtoon r school kids… They aren’t work force employees.

You wud never pick NBK, Zain, or even an airline as a career choice.

And no one picked tijari? seriously? oh man, i hate to know what they teach in schools these days etha eltijari is not on the list of places to work at.

And what’s with the insurance sector? there r no jobs there any more. And even if u happen to fall upon one, it will never be a senior paying job. The title mite b a senior, but the financial and staff benefits will stay stuck at entry level.

and sorry to say this, but looking at how the new “kawader” r being approved left, right, and center… Wouldn’t it just make a lot more sense to work for the government, if you’re a fresh graduate? I’m just saying that it might be a great idea.
