I read this interesting study conducted for large sample of Kuwaiti citizens and published by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today stating that most Kuwaitis nowadays prefer social networking tools such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook… etc. to exchange Ramadan greetings over the traditional visits and in-person greetings, their reasoning is that most people live away from each other and life got busy. Frankly, I rarely visit friends to greet them for Ramadan or other occasions, in most cases I send and receive messages.

This shows how times have changed and how modern technology have affected our traditions and social mores. Do you think its fine to use messages for Remadan/Eid greetings or its better the traditional way?
