I posted about this before but I found a new published statistic for world hottest cities, the temperatures were recorded during mid of July 2012 and guess who came as number one? Kuwait City with 51 degrees Celsius recorded temperature! In second place came Baghdad followed by Riyadh. The statistic did not included abandoned places or remote areas such as deserts.
Kuwait indeed is a very hot place in the summer, a 5-minutes walk in the noon can make you sweat like crazy.

I heard some places in Saudi desert it may reach up to 70 degrees
What is the highest temperature ever recorded?
In 1922 the temperature reached 136° Fahrenheit (58° C) in Libya.
Death Valley in California holds the record for the highest temperature in the U.S. at 134° in 1913.

I would like to see the temperature difference between here and Las Vegas Nevada. Cause When I traveled this pas June I swear I thought I was in Kuwait when I’ve arrived over there.
Yes I agree Vegas was really hot the first time I visited it, its interesting how the temperature decreased as we approached L.A
TOTALLY!!! If you go road tripping from LA – Vegas and back you’d definitely see a change in temperature. You can even see more difference in temp once you hit up to Redwoods in California.
