One thing that really upsets about Kuwait is that copyright laws are totally neglected, anyone can copy registered brands (both international and local) names and logos without a shred of guilt. Our friend blogger His & Hers has shared a picture for a laundry using Juventus (yes the football team) name and logo, there are countless similar cases that I come across everyday.

The salon above used the name for renowned brand Dior, while the laundry (see below) used Ferrari logo and name. I also posted about a lingerie shop using the brand Virgin name and logo, and even this tiny baqala below is named Seven & Eleven! I can’t yet understand why these people (and even some big companies) cannot think of something creative? Are they too lazy to think of a name or to create their own brands? Also why there are no legal punishments what so ever?
