I was heading back to Kuwait City from Abu Hulaifa on Fahaheel Express way today and spotted these bright colored buildings right next to The Village food court, what caught my attention is the extra bright colors of the buildings which will become another restaurants court named Typhoon. They looked kinda fun, but I observe that architecture in Kuwait is kinda of a mess, I mean there’s no specific pattern that distinguishes us from other countries. If you go to London you will feel you are in London mainly due to it’s buildings style, same applies for Paris, Italy… etc. but in the Gulf generally we lack the architectural identity, again that’s solely my opinion.

I checked that couple of days at night.
It will be a royal classic venue for food courts and restaurants.
Every restaurant opens will increase 2+KG extra
Bs kafee !!
haha man what if I tell you that over 15 restaurants courts are opening soon, what wouldf be ur reaction?
We have been living in this area since 1984 and it was one of the quietest places in Kuwait. We didnt even have street names or a proper address (we still dont somehow) and now with the village and this ugly duckling we the residents are going to suffer thanks to money hunger investors who bought the two pieces of land and built on it without asking the residence..
EXACTLY!!!:)
True! In Europe, the architectural landscape has to be almost unified to give the city/town its distinctive feature, which is lacking in the GCC countries. It’s disconnected.
Exactly my point Bu Jwais.
I have seen pictures of buildings like this with different colors from my ethiopian friend who visited denmark…. She has taken photos from buildings with different colors…. lol
