I was walking by the beach early this morning and I kept seeing street cats everywhere, many were scavenging in garbage looking for food and shelter.

Cats in Kuwait rule the streets, whether its a residential area, industrial, or beach front bearing the burning sun and cold winter. I love cats, but we clearly need to have a solution in Kuwait, otherwise they are just left to die by car hits, diseases, or simply left to starve.

I read that K’s Path had tried the Trap-Neuter-Release technique in Ahmadi area, in this technique they catch the cats, sterilize them in the lab and release them.

According to K’s Path, this way the cats cannot re-produce and therefore their population is controlled in Kuwait, what do you think?

I always wondered where did Kuwait street cats originally come from? I once overheard they came with old ships from India.

I think K-Path should go sterilize themselves first.

I never had anything against K-Path until now. Seriously, who are they to pass judgement and punish harmless cats by stopping them from breeding? I don’t care about stupid cat’s rights. But cats are not really a annoying like flies and zhaiwiya and most importantly they are not dangerous.

Let them be. If you catch a cat pooping in your house, emsek el hooz w resha 3alaihom to compensate yourself without actually killing their breed. Done!

Yes I fully agree with cats being harmless, my point for finding a solution was because that I see a lot of cats die from cars and diseases, and that they should get a shelter instead of living in the hot sun and cold winter or starve from hunger.

      • AlSubah says:

Yes we also die from car accidents and diseases but you don’t see a higher authority enforcing a vasectomy law on us.

hehe i agree with Alsubah here, breeding is a natrual thing, why would they sterilize them? they dont have the right to! if Allah wanted to sterilize them they would be born sterilized! its just unfair plus who eats the food that the human being throw in the garbage other than cats? wala we benefit from cats more than you can imagine! wala 7aram 3laihom

Yes i agree we need solution but not sterilizing, maybe cats can be caught and taken to a yard where they can live normally.

NOOOOOOOO they live there for years .. never bothered anyone @@ why stoping them from producing babies if they are happy ..!!!!

God didnt ask us to control this creatures life .. in fact in Quoran its written that every creature will find his food and shelter “kl ma5loo8 fee rezg 7agaa”

Who are we to decide to stop this !!!!

yes maybe some suffer but if we do this rats will increase and yes I see many big ones at the beach and …. NOOO NOOO NOOO

I am not with them this time =”(

I think this is a Good Idea….but i Think K’s Path should really have a round in Jaleeb because there are many dogs roaming around nd some of them even chase people around!!
Is there any way they can do that????

  5. Sonu says:

Well i dont think so anybody reported it!!!
But i really want those dogs to hv a better place to live!!!

    • Tazmania says:

I think there’s a dog yard in Kuwait but they need to form a team that catches the lost dogs and take them to that yard where they can live and taken care of, I will try to contact them about this.

  6. Sonu says:

and i think nobody knows what to do about those dogs!!

  7. Sonu says:
