Today we were thinking what to have for lunch, we agreed on having burger but were arguing which burger outlet we should go to, some said Shake Shack burger, others said Elevation burger or Fat Burger, and some were really busy so they said McDonald’s, of course the list doesn’t end here we still got Let’s Burger and Johnny Rockets.
Then we thought like maybe we can compare some of the popular burger outlets in Kuwait and decide which one is the best by taste, value, quality, and even calories-wise.
So we divided the list and everyone was asked to go and get the most popular burger in each restaurant so we can compare them all !
We gave the burgers for several people to taste and rate from 1 (Poor) to 10 (Excellent), the price was as per invoice, quality was the freshness of the ingredients, waiting time meant how long we waited, and finally the calories in each.
We chose the basic burgers with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and the sauce. So no extra add-ons or anything, the winners were the Elevation Burger and Shake Shack burger so far.
Johnny Rockets was good but the high calories was the downside. As for FatBurger, we liked it but again if less calories it would be excellent choice and its good idea to use less mayo and cheese.
Let’s Burger said we must get salad and fries with the burger, I like to have the option. McDonald’s Quarter Pounder did not compete with others with regards to taste, but it can save you on the waiting time, money, and of course you can get it anytime and almost anywhere.
Note: At the end, all burgers were eaten.

LOL nice idea. Though I think it would’ve been more fair if you chose burgers with similar ingredients from each restaurant. McDonald’s Quarter Pounder doesn’t stand a chance next to the others :P
We tried our best to chose the basic burgers with minial additives and only the main sauce, but still McDonald’s rocks when someone is in hurry or feeling hungry at say 2:00 AM

You know “burger” is strange food invention, it’s like a hypnosis everybody loves a burger.
I hate going out and eat a BURGER, if it’s not take out it’s not worth it, I look for REAL dining experience and try to have more MEANINGFUL dish than a burger.
It is an excellent study BTW, I think the hit right now is Shake Shack and Elevation Burger, it is almost everyones first choice.

to try. But the ranking is not accurate. You cannot compare fast food to groumet burgers, especially when cold. That’s why the more fast foodish it is, the lower it scored.
New challenge. Only gourmet burgers, and another list only fast food :P
