We were invited to the Red Bull Car Park Drift contest at Kuwait International Fair today at 3:30 pm. Its my first time ever to attend such an event, but it was really awesome ! Keep reading I promise you won’t regret.
There were many registered thirsty-drifters , but only 10 were qualified ! and out of the 10 only one really skilled drifter will qualify for the finals in Beirut on the 22th of July.
I must admit that I was thrilled with skills that I saw, just seeing those wild drifters and hearing those engines roaring made my adrenaline flare-up 
The drifting cars included Camaro, Z350, BMW, Mitsubishi, Corvette, Mustang among others. Big crowd came to see the drifters and they were screaming and cheering, yeah it was fun !
The only downside was the heavy smoke from the burning drifting tires, combined with the wind the dust storm ! I was suffocated, literally !
Judges said the results were very close, they announced the winners at 6:00 pm:
1. Salah Bin Eidan.
2. Mishari Al-Thefferi
& 3. Mubarak Rumeithan.
Thankfully the event went out smoothly without incidents, except a little accident when the Z350 hit the barriers. There were also ambulances and firefighters ready.
