Remember the epic comedy-drama and Academy Award winning movie Forrest Gump? There was that scene when Tom Hanks started running, all of a sudden, across the U.S from ocean to ocean, wasn’t it brilliant? Kuwaiti biker Tallal Al Attar has shared with us a similar thrilling adventure where he hit the road on a solo adventure (road-trip) across the U.S, he rode for over 7,000 KM, and to top it off, he handed us punch of cool shots that he took along his exciting adventure.
What he did is that he shipped his bike from Kuwait to the U.S back in June 2012, he kick-started in Chicago and rode all the way to San Francisco-California passing by several states and many cities inlcuding Milwaukee, Minneapolis, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada.
The road trip extended for 20 days, I just loved how he stopped by many popular places and landmarks like Yellowstone National Park, Mall of America, The Avenue of Giants, Badlands National Park among others. Excitedness-aside, I can only imagine the challenges he must have faced during his long road trip, but guess what? I bet it worth every Kilo Meter.
I’ve to admit that I’m envious, seeing those breathtaking pictures makes me want to get my bike today and start planning my own solo trip. Well done Tallal for this great achievement, we are really proud of you.

Yes, it was interesting and an unforgettable adventure. And, yes, it was worth every kilometer of it. The scenery and the landmarks I visited were breath-taking and almost dreamlike. Road traveling in USA is second to none. And doing it on a motorcycle,is a dream you don’t want to wake up from.

The trip was an adventure that’s worth every penny and effort spent on it. It took me nearly one year of research, planning, and preparing. Even studying weather conditions and best time of season to avoid the notorious hurricane season. Not to forget all information and advices from all my fellow bikers. Which helped me in preparing for the trip
